This coming September marks the welcome beginnings of the Brighton and Hove Food and Drink Festival. The event aims to display the wealth of top quality produce on offerin Sussex In 2008 in excess50,000 people enjoyed the vast array of displays, stalls and opportunities to sample - seeing just what our local counties can produce. An even hgher number of visitors are expected this year - drawn by the outstanding reputation of the event - but also someiinovative and exciting new ideas for 2009. in addition to displaying local produce covering fruit, vegetables, meat, cheeses, wines, etc etc this year they are in addition introducing the idea of ‘Open House Dining’ - an event where people host tv style ‘Come Dine With Me’ events in their own home.
