Sean King Storms in Asia

Focusing primarily on the market of Taiwan, Sean King, Park Strategies’ vice president, covers the entire Asia Pacific region. In 1999 to 2001, Sean King’s consulting engagements included creating a Southeast Asian government export finance blueprint and launching a credit card venture in Thailand. He has also worked for the New York State Department of Economic Development in which he had led a February 1997 trade mission to Taiwan.

Prior to his career at Park Strategies, Sean King spent five years serving as a Senior Advisor for Asia in the US and Foreign Commercial Service at the United States Department of Commerce. Aside from that, he also joined Donald Evans, George Pataki and J.W Marriott, Jr. on fact finding missions to China.

He has received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame and his undergraduate degree from the American University in Washington DC. Part of his MBA was a summer internship for Citibank in Taipei in 1998.

Sean King regularly makes public speaking appearances at several events such as the 2007 Florida Business Summit at the University of Florida as well as the 2006 University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business Asia Pacific Business Conference. Sean King has also appeared on CNBC-Asia’s “Squawk Box.”
